  • A paragraph about the new skills you acquired from working on the Web Design assignment. Reflect on what you liked/disliked about the assignment. How can what you learned from the assignment be used in your future career? Post a link to your website.
I did not submit the Web Design assignment, so unfortunately i dont have much commentary to provide on it. I apologize. I want to submit it late but i'm nervous.

  • A paragraph about the new skills you learned from working with Diigo. How can this application be useful in your classroom, with team members, and in your individual professional efforts?
Using Diigo, I learned the skill of sharing resources with other members in the group. I also learned how to use tags and how they can help classify, categorize resources to make it easier to access them. I also learned that comments and descriptions can be added to give peers and other people in your network a description of the resource before they read it. This application can be useful because it allows members to view resources that others may find useful, allows them to filter it through tags in order to find the specific topic they're looking for and also just gives me the ability to widen the perspective i have on finding resources by giving me another platform to access resources.

  • A paragraph about technology and teacher professional development. Teachers are tasked with being the driving force of technology innovation in education -- which is directly related to professional development, how we stay aware of changes.  Post a link and description of one site you could use to stay informed of technology trends in education.
Twitter is definitely a great platform to help stay informed of technology trends. Hashtags and pages on Twitter exist to help keep users connection, and communities can be formed that share information through groupchat, retweets and comments. Teachers can connect with each other and share resources, experience, and tools that help drive their education and knowledge regarding teaching in general. Overall, teachers can develop and innovate the ways they educate in the classroom through resources access on Twitter.
